Our Founder

A graduate of the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration with concentration in Operations Management and Consulting, Amanda resides in the Knoxville, Tennessee area with her husband, children, and fur pup.  Born and raised in Knoxville, she’s lived and seen several places over the course of her career, but hopes to always call Volunteer country her home. ​

A process controls and instrumentation course during college opened Amanda’s eyes to the necessity and balance of properly designed process control systems.  Not only are these systems intended to provide personnel, environmental, and equipment safety, but can also be optimized to deliver increased process up-time, resulting in higher product quality and company profits.  After years of experience in the process design and controls industry working for multiple commercial and government clients, Amanda decided to create Integral Engineering Group. As the company's client base grew, so did client requests for multi-disciplinary engineering design services.  Utilizing her extensive network amassed over years of working in commercial and government sectors, she brought together a team of experts in their respective fields to ultimately create the Integral Engineering Group of today.

When at home, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to local events, and reading.
